It is important that we have good quality images to work with. The quality of the finished Design is only as good as the image we start with. That little spec of dust on juniors face can look like a rather large mole when your original is enlarged to suit the Design of your choice. Here are a few tips to ensure your photos stand the test of time.

• Clean your scanner with a lint free cloth after each scan.
• Ensure you scan to at least 300dpi for standard sized pics. If your subject is too small to start with, there may not be enough detail to enlarge very much.
• Decide on a standard naming convention and save photos at 100% quality in JPG format.
